Here we go, letter from my team:

Hey Scotty got some news for you

After inspecting vehicle for structural and mechanical faults/damage, A FAULT has been found in the damaged cv joint. The part is located inside the cv joint, we have sent the faulty part away to 3 different precious metal specialists and have all said the same thing, they have found porosity and burn marks in the metal. The have confirmed damage is NOT from impact but the porosity in the part.

Porosity is caused by two things, 1: is the metal used was of poor quality and 2: is casting temperature was too high for the metal.

This part after casting would have undergone laser finishing of the metal to exact size and specs and be inspected by machine and visually

This part should NOT have passed Mitsubishi quality control and be allowed to be put on to the car, being a moving part this is a big safety concern, but somehow this part has passed probably because of poor quality control and bulk production of the part.

We will inspect the other 3 undamaged cv joints and locate the part we found faulty and if see this comes back with the same result.

This could be a one off part failure by Mitsubishi or a mass production failure.

We are waiting for a full metal analysis report to come back from the 3 precious metal different specialists.

Still working on the rest of the car

Sit tight. Thanks

Edit: this is all of the info i have atm, too busy with work now, ill catch up with this in a few weeks

Very misleading title.
You haven't found a fault in the X, you've found a damaged part inside the CV joint of a wrecked EVO.

Sorry, but until you can actually prove that the damaged part caused the accident and is likely to cause future accidents I remain very sceptical and I would put the accident down to a PEBSWAR rather than a dodgy CV joint... or AYC... or whatever you "find" next.

Let's deal with this factually folks.

There's NO reason to think that Scott is anything but honest.

He has sent a damaged Evo for analysis and those he has sent his car to have claimed that there is a problem with a CV joint.

Now I've told Scott that people deal with documentary proof and NOT word of mouth. Else everyone here is a materials analysis expert.

I've advised him to put up technical documentary proof ASAP.
OR there is simply no basis to what he's saying,
then it becomes a case of "He said, she said..."

In any case, I will not tolerate any mud slinging in here.

Well ive been busy with my live atm, these cars are a thing i play with on the side when i have time, You guys know as much as i know right now, Thats all my team has told me and thats all they can say now,

i have been warned by my senior counsel not to post any factual evidence reports until an outcome has been determined, the reason for this is to protect all parties including my self.

All i know is my team is inspecting EVERY PART of this car with a microscope, And they have found 7 faults with MY car 1 of them is inside the cv joint (what parts? IDK), they also have a brand spanka 2014 sitting with them to confirm the faults on MY car to the MY NEW car to see if it is a one off failure or mass production failure, btw i purchased the 2014 brand spanka with cash!

I can confirm big money is being spent on this!

Thats all i can say now, if this negative behavior from other keeps going on, I WILL remove all posts and topics

I am trying to post this info to :

Help others who may have some of the issues ive experienced, Mabey i can help them and they can help me,

I know 17 evo 10's that have been write off in Australia, thats 17 thats allot of evo's to be written off, and 4 of them have said and described the thing that happened to me word for word, 2 of their cars are waiting to be investigated, Just because someone is not a member on the forum does not mean there arent any more evos 10 on the streets or they are lurking around the forums looking for answers,

I really thank Adam (beeble) for the info he's supplied me over the past 1-2years, never once hes he criticized me or judged my actions or even tried to challenge what happened and how it happened, Im sure he is egar as hell to know what the facts are, After he has experienced an evo 10 loosing it around a corner for no apparent reason (track or no track it doesnt matter until you experience it) and Adam found hes fault!

Why cant we have more people on this forum like Adam?

Anyways i will not comment any more

Keep at it Scott - I believe the vast majority of your fellow members are with you on this and we appreciate not only the updates, but the fact you're making the not inconsiderable effort to find the truth of what happened...
