if you have a look at this doc https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-fnvWb ... view?pli=1 it is the GETRAG manual for the 450 and 470 box but on the 9th page it lists the different names for the manufactures oil, easily

Transmission Fluid Type: BOT 341

Ford part number: XT-11-QDC

Volvo part number: 1161838

Mitsubishi part number: MZ320065

Mitsubishi calls this Dia Queen SSTF-I

Approximately $28.00 for 1 liter

dont know if this helps but the link is a good read.

Castrol Transmax Dual and Bot 341manufactured by Castrol.
Under brand Bot 341 are made to order for the official Mitsubishi service centres.
Under the brand Transmax Dual this fluid a few years later went into retail sale the overall composition of the fluids is almost identical. Transmax Dual has a slightly higher viscosity to better resist over heating.

The above was translated from a european site, they seem to think Transmax Duel is a better fluid

They're both essentially the same, except sst's MY10 and back have 3 drain holes, MY10 and after have only 2

It is easy to do yourself if you have a spare 4 hrs or so. I used 1ltr water bottles to measure what came out to replace the exact amount of fluid

yes you need to remove both, as the bolt is under the battery tray, and i think you have to remove just the snorkel from the air box, you will need a 8mm allen key

Hay guys, I will be buying a 20L drum of the Castrol transmax dual, and looking to drop the fluids this coming weekend.

I am looking for someone to go half for the castrol fluid?
If anyone is interesting, I will go half with you, so 10L for half of what I will pay. I have been quoted around $360ish mark GST inclusive.

PM me if interested.

Thanks
