Not sure re whether you can source vw or volvo dsg oil (diaqueen? Probably) but I'm going to go the Pentosin ffl-2 route $27/ltr. Ravenol has had a few possible issues (may or may not be fluid related). Also HKS DCTF which is supposed to be very good but expensive. Finally Motul Multi Dctf is supposed to BE Diaqueen and is recommended for the lancer sst.

Hi, It is only worth looking at other brands if it is cheaper to buy other wise not worth chasing around after it on the Castrol web site it states that it is for twin clutch gear boxes but when you type in where to buy it says contact dealership what a rip?????!!!!!!!! Thz Gary

You can import diaqueen from the USA for 170 landed per tin, if you are prepared to wait 10 days or so for it.

FYI: I made some enquiries regarding various fluids as I'm coming up to needing an SST oil change in the near future.

Willal Racing have a fluid for the SST, WR35TMX. Priced at $600 for 10L, I don't feel it's economical against OEM Diaqueen SSTF-1 from a dealer. MRT Performance in Rhodes seems to suggest this is what they use.

Castol Transmax Dual will soon be released in Australia in the coming month, but available only in 20L containers (that's 3+ SST fluid changes for an individual). I'm making further enquiries with Castrol re: retail availability of BOT 341 - perhaps in smaller containers as is sold overseas.

Ravenol/Pentossin don't seem to have a presence in Australia, and the only way to get it is from an overseas vendor willing to ship - if I'm going down that path, I'd rather OEM fluid as Beeble posted above.

I've got 24 litres of Diaqueen sitting in my garage.... filters too :)
shame you're not in Melbourne!

I would not use the willall stuff. mixed results from people who have used it.
Same with Ravanol it seems.
Pentosin FFL2 is most consistent, but I just don't trust anything but the OEM and potential Transmax Dual (which may well be the same thing)

TC SST fluids??
