How an oil filter works. Do you have flow through yours as the inlet and outlet ports are blocked?

Yours that time, as Marcus is using his for the oil cooler so he will have flow.

So mine is not connected right or marcus has to watch out how he connects his ?

I don't believe yours is right Denis. Most sandwich plates have an outlet (which on your engine is engine side) and an inlet (radiator side) and they aren't connected inside the plate.

Hrmm i see. This might explain why im getting slightly higher oil temps ?

But again, it shouldnt matter for my case. Its a sensor, and oil is just passing it right ?

UPDATE :)


Finally got a 3" dump pipe fabricated with a little something :p

Screamer pipe cracked due to vibrations. So it went to get strengthen !!
Also while it was off, i ceramic coated it.

Finally all in!


Then had a dyno day at SPRINGY MOTORS.

Can say i was very surprised with the numbers!
-Full exhaust
-Apexi pod filter
- 13psi. 98 FUEL
