Good to see you back!

It's always interesting reading about your conversion, especially to those who have NA's looking at upgrading. After doing all of this, are you regretting not purchasing a RA/Evo? And hows the clutch holding up with the power?

Clutch is slipping after hard driving after 1 and half years. But its only rated for NA power lol so next step will be stage 3 clutch

This is true, chopping people that think its stock is priceless after all ;)

Why don't you look at swapping the gearbox from a GSR?

Haha, we all know that if you install GSR gearbox the boost will go up. So the only difference will be that tires will be spinning more and more ;)
After that you will understand what is the benefit of AWD.

Speaking as owner of turbo Lancer and Evo X GSR. ;)

HAHA ! possible, but im more into balance. And i think it is nicely balanced. but i want to have a nice and safe gearbox. handling 260HP with ease.

Gearbox is safe enough, just do your regular oil changes and should be fine.

A fellow Russian guy is pushing 500 Nm on stock gearbox with more boost than you.

If you are still wondering whether GSR box will fit, the answer is yes of course, however won't be plug & play. Evo is using a fork and TOB for the clutch, so you will have to change the clutch slave cylinder with one from a Evo, but that's not a problem. The biggest difference is in the differential.
In your gearbox you have only front diff, but on that place Evo gearbox has the center diff, becase Evo front diff is in the transfer case. What this means is that the left drive shaft is going through the center diff to the transfer case (can't see this from outside) and the right drive shaft is going straght in the transfer case.
That's completely different setup compared to what you have now, which means that you will have to make modifications to that part of the drivetrain.
Possible options are swapping the front diff from your gearbox on the place of Evo center diff, something that would be stupid cause the diff is not limited slip, or more clever and expensive way to find a LSD made for Lancers and adapt it in the Evo gearbox.

Oh wow haha !

500 Nm, bloody russians. theyre crazy :p

Oh wow... Didnt know that. Thats something i have to do some research.

Might be better off just putting a LSD in the lancer box.

Thanks again LiX. Appriciate your knowledge !

So heres a little update !

After i installed the

-intake manifold
-throttle body
-fuel reg
-fuel rail
-return line

It was time for a tune :)

Adam aka Beeble was nice enough to come past my house and tune it.

Had to do everything from scratch. On 98 fuel, was around the 165ish kw mark. Felt nice! Definantly more responsive with the bigger throttle body and snappier. Also i have realised the turbo spool is different :) Got a cute whistle in it LOL

Again, thank you adam for doing this for me ! Appreciate your time and everything!

WELL.......

I lasted 6 days LOL.....

I needed E85! Not because of the power but people on E85, you know what im talking about. Its that extra ummmphhh :p

So i filled up with about 2-3 tanks of E85 to flush all the 98 fuel out . Just so the tune can be the best as possible.

And again, annoying me, BACK to adam !

Now on E85 before this setup. The fuel reg couldnt keep up so i was restricted at 6200rpms :(

Now with the whole evo X setup, back to 7600rpms!!

Now this thing moves . Smiling for days haha not hitting boost for 2 weeks is probably one of the hardest things to do.

Now power figure wise, this is more accurate then before and best result i got on 10 PSI. It was a road tune. Dyno results will be in the next few months.

Also, if you guys remembered i had 2 faults in my ecu causing the CEL.

- Primary boost Solenoid missing
- IAT2 sensor missing.

THANKS TO MY FRIEND IN GREECE !!! Lix :)

it worked brother !!! Youre the man. The Primary boost solenoid fault is gone. Im down to 1 CEL now.

Also, the IAT2 will be wired up soon. Just purchased a evo x engine loom with my very good friend Tadz, as some of you know.

The IAT2 sensor i have to wire up to the ecu. So once thats in. CEL FREE :D

Now, we all know how important its to keep the exhaust clean :p

E85 runs so clean, so i thought id give it nice mirror finish !

ALSO, sold my beloved WHITE XXR WHEELS :(

As much as i loved them, it was time to move on!

I decided to use RPF-1s for daily since theyre such beautiful wheels.

And i bought a set of stock EVO X GSR Enkeis in black for TRACK with new semi's.
