TC SST gear box how strong????

Hi all does anyone no what KWS at the wheels the standard Tc SST box can hold before you need to upgrade the internals???? Thz Gary

Its has more to do with torque, you wouldnt want anything around or over 400nm on stock clutchs.

Belive the number is around the 300kw mark. Some have gotten more some have hit 290 and it gone poop..
If your tuner does not know what they are doing and simply stick boost up its backside to get a high number your gonna destroy the box

I have run 320-330kw through stock SSTs before, it is more the midrange torque that you have to keep a lid on.
but if you were tuning a car to it's full potential right through the rev range, then the magic number is just under 300kw, maybe 280 or 290. after that, the torque those setups are capable of making, is enough to fry clutchpacks no matter how much you tweak the SST tables.
