Oooooh.... lol. You should have said that then

I'll probably wait until I have enough $ for the full upgrade. (2nd, with calipers of course). the first is using your stock calipers, they are only 1 piston. Not much power. But, if you have an N/A car, it'll be plenty, with just ceramic pads, and rotors. brake lines would help even more.

and btw Josh, I wouldnt recommend going Tein springs. springs alone are just for looks, they offer minimal at best, handling improvement. If you want proper suspension, get Koni Adjustables, or TEIN Coil Overs. None of that spring alone or Megan crap. Megan are ok.... but they are more of a budget range then actual quality stuff. And if you're looking at spending that much already, might as well add the extra and get proper suspension. Koni's or Tein's will run you $1,500 to $1,800, the Megans are only $1,000 about's, delivered (based on current exchange rates).

nah, the way I see it...

stage 1 - 200+ whp

stage 2 - 260+ whp

stage 3 - 300+ whp

stage 4 - 340+ whp

stage 5 (end) - 360whp (overall stable tuned ride)

gauges and all that are just accessories

When do you plan to have stage 5 done?

before 09 ends hopefully or early 2010. tuning is a long process, to get it perfect. will get to 300 by mid 2009

i'll take things slow. not 100% concerned on pure horsepower, i'm also looking at perfecting the other aspects along the way. as far as body exterior goes, i'm pretty much done, only a wheel change when these tyres die, for some proper Enkei's and tyres.

and... the diffuser from Shadows, if he ever ends up making it. everything else stays standard.

ahh... the age old "why don't you just buy a ____"

why buy an evo x? why not buy a GTR instead? oh wait, what about a Porsche GT3? at the end of the day, it's my money, and my car. besides, I like my CJ. You're effectively telling everyone that has ever thought of modding a cheap car as a hobby, that it is pointless because "you could get ____" instead.

The stock 5 speed has already proved to handle over 500whp. All you will really need to change is the clutch. I suggest you do some research before posting personal opinions.

^ nope. last body mod, diffuser.

everything else after that is engine bay + handling work. my personal opinion, no point spending too much on the body when all it really is is looks.
