Couple of guys are running these on race cars with great success.

You will have to figure out somewhere to fit the cooler though as we have the window washer bottle where the evos have the oil cooler stock, as well as getting some lines and fittings to connect it to the oil filter flange on the block:

May also need to add a thermostat where the black circle is as the oil will be flowing continuously through the cooler.

Evo X cooler should be fine. Straight fit with the bracket and lines. And yeah it sucks.... washer bottle is in the way LOL

I was looking at that before... We can relocate or make the washer bottles smaller to be able to mount the cooler in the X spot.

Thermostat is a must!
Regarding the washer bottle, you can always relocate it in the trunk like on the X.

What about using the X headlight washer bottle as your windscreen washer bottle?

It can be used, however it's too small in volume. I'm refilling it quite regularly.

Yeah thats what i got, the evo x headlight washer bottle. Sits nicely behind the evo x cooler.

Just the pump and wiring is different

Can anyone confirm if i snipped the wires off the washer pump plug to the evox headlight washer pump plug ?

Thanks

Should work OK Denis,I think the headlight washer pump is a higher volume pump so you should have the best windscreen washers in town!

Modern full-synthetic oils are ok to 150c or more

GF-4 certified oil SM/SN/CJ4 oils have to pass the sequence 111G test with the oil at 150c for 100 hours at 3600rpm so I would`nt panic if you are using a decent oil .

And all installed :)

Its working now

The actual oil temp sensor was out by 20 degree C.
Used a thermal infrared gun

Oil Thermostat is next but should be ok for now

Thanks everyone!
