From comparing Chris' new shorter shaft with the original one, the threads were the same. I had no problem with putting his leather knob on his new short shaft.... :P

OK, Just "WTF" is going on around here.

bd-850 said: nice knob :P

Hoges replied: gonna see if it fits on :o

bd-850 thought: I should see how my knob fits on the end of my shaft :)

LZY_EYE reckons: He had no problem with putting Chris's knob on his shaft.... :P

Hoges : just couldn't wait to change his Knob, for the time being.

AUSSIECJ mentioned: It feels awesome. it wasn't to hard, but the push off was a pain in the ass.

and finally

Kimmy, had to mention: "Looks Good" *eek*

LOL Sam... are you disappointed you were not invited to participate?? :P

Ryan - I used a small flat blade to start prying them off, once there was a large enough gap, I then used a big flat blade and twisted it off.

They will not be reusable.

When putting the new ones on, I found using an old socket over the clip, and tapping the socket allowed the clip to be installed evenly without damaging it.

I also didn't cut the carpet like they say you need to do. It is a little tricky, but can get away without cutting.
