Yes a front lip that goes between the pods on the VRX would be good!

aspir3 wrote:Any chance we as a club could buy CVT and SST oil in 220 litre drums and then sell to members per litre. This would give a savings plus members would only need to purchase the required amount needed. At the moment I need to buy 2 x 5 litre containers to service my CVT when it only takes 7 litres. Not sure what Im supposed to do with the extra 3 litres. I probably wont need to service my CVT for another 5 years.

I've been doing some research and the cvt oil is sold in 4litre containers. I assumed they were 5 litre containers like engine oil. So purchasing 2 containers means I will only have about 300 ml left over which isn't to bad.

Kalum any idea how much report sell the cvt service kit for?

My MY14 CJ Lancer VRX mod plan this year is
- Ralliart rear deffuser
- Dual Xforce exhurst system
- RRM or Supercircut Headers

my lancer has a merlin flashd tune and installed a tog hi flow airfilter Ralliart snorkel. Cut out a hole to allow more cold air also intstalled a Intake airduct cover with cooling airduct plate. Personalised plates QLD 1.VRX.1
So I'm slowly modding my CJ.

Happy modding CJ Members

Another idea, given the vast range of wants by us, would be to negotiate a reduced price 'gift card' with an organisation such as carmodsaustralia.com.au or even supercheap or autobahn (not suggestions, just the first that came to mind).

This would allow a larger pool of members to buy in and get what they want.

% discount could be greater for premium members than non premium, meaning all can buy in but a greater benefit is had by paying members

....

I've just bought a MY15 GSR Sportback and wouldn't mind some lowered springs to bring it back from its current SUV looking kerb height so a group buy for lowered and I'm in.

Wouldn't mind some decent headlights, factory ones are ordinary, someone mention Mars Had some nice ones out now with led running lights.

My cars bum don't look so good especially with that huge boxlike single muffler, can you wack on a decent looking/sounding twin muffler on these GSR Sportbacks?

Is there a rear lip for the GSR'S?

I'm interested in any of the above.

Sorry for my CJ dumbspeak, I'm new to these cars, my speciality is '50s/'60's/'70's cars, go easy on me.

+1 for the Mars lights. They look good.
+1 for an upgraded brake kit (disks, pads, maybe even calipers, if I can stretch to it), too.

I also second this option, headlights and brake caliper/disk upgrades

Definitely Sway Bars.

They have re-designed the rear suspension in i believe 2013 onwards
basically removed the rear sway bar and made it extremely difficult for the average user to fit. This could reduce GB numbers.

The best options for improving suspension (and in my view the biggest notice in improvement) is still the following.

Front Strut Brace.
Heavy duty rear sway bar.
decent adjustable coil overs.

Does anyone remember this buy :?:

@ Glenn aka gange

I don't mean to spoil your request, but I don't really think many members would be interested in this item, and moreso when considering that the Aussie Dollar is hemorrhaging atm below $0.70 *doh*
Also since this item is large, heavy @ 14lbs / 6.35kg (guard only without packaging) & in the US, Shipping to Australia is going to be expensive.

On the Positive side, I know that Alan aka Megatron from AK Racing in QLD has a Sump Guard /Engine Under Cover item for under/approx $400 that should interest you.

PM Alan aka Megatron for details & price.
