I have an ITB-100HD and would recommend it.

I've found the GPS to be accurate and the quality to be acceptable.

I'd heard bad things about DR400G-HD units overheating, especially if used in parking mode.

from what i have been reading the dr400g has heat issues in park mode which leads to it having bad picture quality. Itronics have a new model out to i think i having trouble finding a lot of information on these unit i wonder it blackvue has a new one coming out soon

yes blackvue have a new model coming DR500, major feature is the wifi for iphone streaming but not due for 2-3 months and expect to be $100 more.

a lot of the faulty DR400 are factory seconds sold as new on ebay.

Just before our site goes down, I wanted to post an update to this.

We probably will indeed do a group buy on this.

the 2 models which seem to stand out are:

Blackvue's DR400G
and
ITRONICS ITB-100HD

We now have an offer for the Blackvue set but I'm still sourcing for more possible leads.

I'm also mindful of the availability of Blackvue 2nds i.e. those that fail QC. So make sure when suggesting leads for me to follow, please ensure they're NOT for 2nds.

After Reading up on these units i quite like the ITRONICS ITB-100HD and would be more interested in this Unit
Hoges says he has a XDriven, i looked for sample videos of this but it doesn't look as good quality as the Itronics
Hoges Can you upload any images of your unit in operation, so we can compare

Cheers
