Let's not count our chickens before they've hatched then boys?

@Lee: I wouldn't do that since that is ephemeral. Much like fireworks. A trip like that will come and go and then remind you of how much you're missing out not being in Japan.

I'd much rather spend it on something more tangible like an Evo or an M3 coupe.

I guess since you already have an Evo it doesn't hold as much attraction for you.

Isn't that the same as going to a movie or a holiday to anywhere , it's the experience that is memorable and exciting but i guess everyone has different things in mind , M3 E92 would be nice though :)

Have you seen some of the modding culture out in Japan?? It aint all Evo's and GTR's... Outrageous, insane and crazy and some things you wouldnt be caught dead in; and I got into some shit for having a GT wing on #1... They sure do have more balls in modding their cars than what anyone else would.

If a decent amount of money was won (ie more than 1 Division 1 winner), how many people would not buy an Evo?

I probably wouldn't buy an evo, I'd just do my 2.4l up to be faster than one.

Although at this point what I really need is a house, I have a car :P

I like how every one is making all these expensive plans.

Even if we are the only winner, we will each get less then one million.

Oh well every one just seems to be happy with their dreams at this stage.

If we did win and we end up getting around 650k each (if our numbers keep going up) I still would not get an Evo. I would finish off my car, get a Polo (normal 3 door one, gone off the GTI) to drive everyday, have the charged Lancer for weekends and import a TVR T350c, one thats had its major service (they get the engine rebuild so it far more reliable) for fun. Then its off to scare the living crap out of the boguns in an mx5 sized terror. It will even get the Ferrari/Porsche owners reaching for their prozac too. For around 80-90k it wipes the floor with just about everything... Providing it starts

No turbo can make the sound that those things make... The sound they make when they start up is like car porn :)
