A$450 to paint the bonnet? Wow that's a great price.

It's going to cost me in excess of A$1000 to get it all done.
Though he will blend the fenders and repaint my bumper bar for all of that.

wow that is a huge sum. Mine won't include the blending. Will be 600 if it needs to be blended. Going matte black for the vents. Did you find my taxes

Here's the kicker, if my car was white, the price would have been A$750
Yes white is the cheapest color since it's not metallic nor pearlescent.

But I agree my panel beater's charge is abit excessive.

I'm disappointed to inform, that I won't be fitting my bonnet either.

The alignment is so far out on mine, it isn't funny.

I will be lodging a claim back on the manufacturer.

If you want me to put in a claim for your bits, please also send me pictures of the damage.

No pictures, I can't do anything for you.

that's a bit concerning. I knew I should have tried to test fit it this past weekend. Now i'm gonna have to wait till the new year.
Does it not fit due to being bent out of shape or do the fittings just simply not match up?

this concerns me too, mine goes in next week, is it a Manufacturing issue Ofey?

How is 13EZY's bonnet?

If you don't look too hard at it, it's fine. The gaps on one side of my bonnet trouble me. Also there's many small minute dings on mine. Fully fixable of course but still troubling... .

I can't make a case of manufacturing defect on mine. But klue2k claims his isn't folded over properly but I don't have any pictures yet so I can't attest to that.

Can all of you please help me by taking some pictures of your bonnet and focus on any problems?

Make sure you've opened up the packaging and looked at the top side of the bonnet.

Looked over the bonnet in detail last night and didn't find any dings or dents.
took of the old one this morning and test fit the new one only to find that the bolts that connect the hood to the hinges on the stock hood are built in where as this new one you need to get your own bolts and screw them in rather than bolt.
evverythign seemed to line up but couldnt bolt it down so its just floating there in the pic.

Plan is to paint it and the center vent white. Not really a fan of black/cf hoods on white cars, kinda overkill i think.
oh and the vents have been plastidiped for those wondering
