Just got my unit today (thanks timmo91) and dont know where the best place for the GPS antenna is. Anyone have any tips?

Hey crift, thanks!

I think it keeps shorting out because I didn't connect the ground cable in correctly?

I found the fuse I blew..

I disconnected the battery and did it. But as I connect the battery it just blows;(

I'm not sure where to put the ground cable. All the other cables I just plug and play.

Does it matter that he has sub n amp hooked up to the stock head unit ? N is trying to connect it

Yeah I'm disconnecting the negative. Same thing.

I got a sub and amp installed. But that's through my rear speakers. I wouldn't need a canbus for that?

Well, got mine installed with no issues. Was actually easier than I thought it would be. Now to take it for a spin and test the GPS.

Can anyone take photos and show me how they connected at the back of HU?

And now my stock headunit doesn't work....
Checked all fuses and they are fine:/

Check the ribbon is connected, all the way in AND the right way, Its small and i often forget it
