Last I heard It was pulled down because it had security holes in it where the access permissions on the main site did not carry over to the mobile site. Hence anyone could read anything through it.

Not having a go here, but the lack of these sort of "updates" in an announcement thread, bugs me.

Maybe we could become tapatalk enabled if this forum uses phpBB?

Tapatalk requires phpBB 3.0.x, ClubCJ is the outdated (and no longer supported) phpBB2

Fair enough. Thanks for that.

I'm wondering how much work would be required to move from this to phpBB 3. I'm not great on the tech side, are there upgrade options from phpBB 2 -> 3? While I can't speak for others, I'd be ok for the site to go into a simple design mode if we make the transition...

Is it even possible to setup a test site to attempt a transition and figure out what would be needed to transfer across?

v3 is vastly improved and uses a completely different php and database structure. Their would be a fair bit of work converting the database and rewriting the style templates.

Although one problem with phpBB3 is that the developers of the Garage feature have abandoned the project and as of such the only mod out for there for a phpBB3 has been stuck/ended at it's beta phase and has issues.

My Galaxys3 does not open mobile site by default (known problem...vrx_pete was sorting it out) the work around I have in place is bookmarked clubcj.net/android or if u use dolphin browser on Android. .u can set the useragent in settings as 'iphone'
