Just a quick heads up, I'll be taking the server down sometime this evening for a short while to fix some automated tasks that took the server down this morning.

I've been building a new off-site storage server to do nightly backups of all the database and uploaded user content and move them across to the new server. As part of the bedding in process, I've not removed the archive files on the live server until I was sure the backups and transfer was working okay. Being I've been quite busy this last fortnight, I've not really had a chance to keep an eye on things and the disk filled up this morning on the live server.

Looks like the backup process is working as expected and I can modify the automated routines to delete the archives on the live server since things are being transferred to the off-site storage server just fine. So we should not have this problem caused by the backup routines cause again.

I might have to take the server down for a short while during "peak period" tonight. Sorry, but at this point in time with my schedule, I'll take whatever free moment I can to do this, even if it's during the busy evening period.

I got a error 28 this morning

Thanks for the heads up Pete, I did wonder what had happened overnight, got the same error message as Tomo (Metalstrix)

Thanks for your patience and understanding on this. The outage went without incident. There will be another outage later this week to finalise things on the backup server.
