how much did you buy the car?

a standard es is 20-21grand insurance usually covers it for 19-20 grand, what es did you buy?

Mine was a es modded by pmr, it cost $28k as it's got custom leather seats, bodykit, wheels, lowering, and my $2000 stereo fully covered by insurance.

Most companies will cover more than the purchase cost if they agree to cover all the mods fitted to the car at the time.

see not a standard es lol

and i guess tryg has spent over 9grand on his es so if the insurance will cover the full price of each mod then, that would make him around 30grand for his cover. from a standard es
mines at 2100 with just the wheels onthe insurance. gotta ring them to put the new mods on

You are right it's not a standard ES, But for insurance purposes it is a standard es with mods. Just like Tryg's is.

Edit: it definately makes sence to try and add each mod onto your insurance if possible.
If it's any help Im with justcar insurance.

If we do this, might do it the traditional way.. I will seek approval and then let the club run it when they want to... I am just in talks with a few locals, might have sold some at US full-price, a bonus to me..

Will let you all know...

Man these PLX gauges are sweet...I want!! Can you still get, or still have, the CF pods and the gauges at your 'special' prices? :)
HKS/AMS/GFB/MRT/K&N/DBA
Whiteline/Ultra-Racing/Rexpeed/Autometer/Yokohama Racing/Cusco
...and some other stuff which the fun police don't approve of... :)
