Are they a selected repairer for an insurance company??? If so, then set them loose on the repairer and they will woop some ass. Can't believe they haven't finished after 4 weeks, as mine was more work involved in repairing and they did it in 11 days. (mine was a AAMI selected repairer) and they were as busy as! They should clean the inside from all the dust that gets collected from doing the job as well. It may get to the point that you will need to start threatening legal action come monday if they have not finished completely, otherwise go back to your insurance company and tell them the story.

Good luck.
Wishing for the best dude!

Thanks man, I was only asked if I wanted to take the car somewhere close to home by the assessor and I said I don’t care where I have to take it as long as they fix it 100% and the assessor said don’t worry I'll make sure it goes to a good place and they will fix it 110%.

I'm with NRMA and as far as I can tell you can’t select the repairer anymore.

I'm hoping they clean it up come Monday then I will be able to tell if they fixed all the bad orange peel and air spots that were all over it.

I have been trying to keep my cool as I know everyone makes mistakes but I am very close to complaining direct to the Insurance company and I let it get into a legal battle been there before and it's never pretty for anyone.

The thing that pisses me off the most is they are not working on it.

If you make a big enough fuss, you can take it to who you want (just not a backyard butcher job) but most insurance companies won't tell you this until you unleash hell on em. The I.C should get on to them and believe me - they straighten things up in a flash. They guarantee 100% for life, so if you ain't happy, then they express their unhappyness on the repairer and a black mark goes against that repairer. If they get enough black marks, then they are taken off the "selected repairer group"

I had to get a booklet out of my car after a week when it was getting repaired, and there was a sea of white dust particles all inside the car, but they have a professional cleaner to get rid of that, and you never know the difference. I would tell you not to stress about this, but after 4 weeks, I would be unleashing a flaming molotov cocktail through..........umm, better not finish that.

It will be as good as new, in no time!

I'm with NRMA as well & they told me if for any reason the repair wasnt to my satisfaction then they will pursue repeairier to make sure it is.

I'd give them a call & make an appointment so they can see for themselves & make sure these guys fix it 100%

Car always gets dusty & a bit smelly inside when at the panelbeaters, but from experience I drop the car off without original floormats (just put in carpet offcuts) & scotchguard the seats in addition to covering seats with garbage bags.

Might sound anal but it sure saves a lot of work afterward.

Hope to hear some good news soon.
