Canon 70D with a 50mm lens, works better when you set the F stop to 1.8 and the background it further away to make it blurry.

Been trying to find some interesting local locations to photograph.

Awesome... Thinking of investing in a SLR or a decent point and shoot for future uses

This is my first proper digital SLR, has a film one many years ago and a few cheap PAS ones, still getting used to using the settings on this one. It's good to have a good camera and not rely on you phone and depending on your budget and future plans you can get a good DSLR for about $500 from either Canon or Nikon. Trust me getting good gear can be more addictive and expensive than mods to your car!

Been trying to find some nice wall art to use as a background but did these today on a little drive to Lake Baroon.

Nice pictures Craig. I have never been around that way but I'm guessing there would be some nice roads around the blue mountains

Unfortunately not as many as you'd think. But there are a couple. Generally most of the nice roads get too much traffic so you have to go very early or late.

From QLD to Adelaide inland, then the Great Ocean Road and back up the Hume to Sydney (yes Bathurst) and back via the coast, more than 6000km in 3 weeks!
