yes the point is NOT about the cheapest car.

The purpose of my thread is about an acceptable car which will deliver what you need and want so your modding bug doesn't bite you.

It'd be very hard if I started a thread and asked you about the cheapest car you'd buy and be able to mod, that's no longer a cheap car.

That's why I went with the criterion I asked about.

For me, I was going to answer Mazda RX8 or Renault Megane R.S.250 CupTrophee .
I think it looks great stock... .

I dont think I could ever own a car that I wouldnt mod... If it had to be anything it would have to probably be a VE SS

Probably a lotus elise or a renault clio cup. These are gonna deliver heaps of fun while remaining relatively affordable. That being said. I would be really really happy with a 1m

They look absolutely amazing and No , their built to rape corners and supercars in stock form.

bout a month and abit ago we had 1000m sprints here in Temora and i was talking to a guy with a R35, and he wasnt that impressed with it in the mountains, it feels very heavy, his old EVO 9 handled the corners soo much better than the GTR, but in a straight line the GTR will rape the EVO.

but i guess its ll down to personal opinion

I'd go a RX8 GT (only because I like the wheels) and if you can't mod it, cant change the wheels lol.
That's what I WAS going to get before the lancer, just not the GT.
Sexy looking car.

Or a HSV R8. The lady I work with has one. Very easy to speed in and nice ride lol

They handle beautifully. I've raced one and whilst I wasn't the fastest person out there, I was taking corners at 60mph and had no problems

well its each to thier own mate, there is no reason for you to be so critical of peoples choices. if you read the question (the cheapest car you would be happy to keep stock) you could see the reason why alot have chosen the gtr. they look nice (i couldnt care what you think), they go hard, and they are JDM as you know what.

so next time you should think before you are so quick to judge
