Yeah nevermind that he was overweight, or that you can spend hours sitting still, say, at work (he was a programmer after all), or watching tv, its video game's fault!
If you die from something like that, its related to your everyday health but also partly bad luck.
If you die from 'playing games for 3 days straight' its because you're a bloody idiot. Or actually in that case its probably because he was korean and videogames are a sport there. And will probably be related more to sleep deprivation combined with energy drink consumption.
Yes these 'video games are bad for you' things make me angry. Its no different to anything else where you sit down and don't move for a while.

i done 26hrs in one stint, well i did stop for toilet breaks but that was only when i crashed out or waiting for a new game to load. was alot of fun playing "Grid"
felt like crap afterwards

Honestly all he had to do was get XBox Kinnect and he could have been dancing and playing around and moving. Maybe it's time they started playing some of the online "shoot the shit out of everyone" games the same way as the Kinnect games and then then you have to get up and move to hide behind things and shoot people.
