Thanks mate, what mate it even more sweeter is that they screwed up on pickup and fitted the options I didn't want fitted (so in effect I got "free" labour) LOLz. So kewl.

what about an ex demo that was never driven once lol thats what mine was ex demo never really driven had 2Km's on it when i bought it.

Dealers can do a "demo claim" to MMAL, but I think they only get 1 allocation a quarter - so it stops rampant abuse. They basically get around $2-2.5K credit for "demo vehicles". Sounds like the dealer was desperate to offload the Nov 08 lancer. Win win for you I guess. :)

My son is joining the Lancer craze he purchased a VR

Car was ordered by someone with these extra's, I argued for a price lower than 24k but agreed to the $24990, was not fussed about the extras but they did add to their price and the end negiotation.

He picks the car up next week and will be a CJ member shortly.

Just got to stop him thinking he can take my EVO and leave his car for me.

rkn was a pretty gd deal since drive away then was $32990 for an 08 with no accessories....
