Vibrating rear view mirror

Has anyone else experienced this? During acceleration from rest or on not-so-good roads (which are common in Melbourne), it just wiggles. It's quite bothersome and could make me dizzy during a bad day.

I'm sure it can get replaced by warranty but I'm just sceptic the new part may experience the same problem through time. A fix would be much better.

I've passed the same roads in a '96 Corolla and its mirror never had vibrating issues. So far, this is the only quality niggle I've come across the Snob.

The only rattle I have inside my car is the rear demister button. So I am quite confident that replacing the mirror would help. Have you tried finding exactly the noise comes from?? A little grease might fix the noises...

I haven't had mine vibrate or anything like that, have you tried firmly holding the mirror when you hear the vibrations to try and isolate it? does it still happen if you hold it?

If it stops it could be the mirror, otherwise it could be something else

After thrashing the crap outa the subs, i do notice mine does shake, and not because of the subs being on.

My mums car had the problem that it never stayed in the same place and when she took it for a service they had found that the mounting screw had become loose.

I dont know if the lancer has a screw type setup for securing the mirror, but it might be something to check...

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but by vibrating, I meant shaking, not noise. I'm just disappointed this is happening in a car less than a year old. I'll have it checked during the next service.

My mirrors (all of them) hate my music. But when music not on, they fine.
