depends if your doing modifications to the car i reckon. so if u get a loan of 40k but spend 35k u have 5000 to instantly spend on mods =D
but just as 35k, on a per month payment, the difference may be 100-150 dollars between a brand new vs this my09 model.
with my10 models, i think the instrument cluster has a white background vs blue. leather handbrake which is nice, chrome air con knobs, more soundproofing in the front window, improved ETACS or something.
i think 35k is an okay price if u were looking for a sportback ralliart in the first place

cheers thanks for the info, paying cash as the asking price was 39k offered 35k drive away pick up today, vehicle in in blue , had a deal on a vrx at 29990 auto , thought the extra 5 k was a good investment considering the difference between the vehicles. only time will tell i guess.

no as it sits in the showroom all standard, car is for the wife so i suggest it will have a "normal" life. I have a f6 so it will be a bit of fun every now and then the test the all wheel drive on the lancer.

Don't be surprised if you prefer the Lancer to the F6 after driving it

I'd say the Ralliart would be as good as the F6 for fun, but get a drive in an Evo around some twisties up a mountain and you will be back to trade the F6 in on that in no time.

If you're okay with the sportback body, that should be a great deal.
