Yeah storage temperature is typically -40℃ to +80℃ and operating temp is usually either -10℃/+40℃ , -10℃/+60℃ or 0℃/+40℃ or similar. It's more about the rate of change as sudden cooling might cause damage...

Getting back to the OP there is also the option of downgrading to the non-mmcs Rockford Fosgate system, the 6 stack CD.

You'd need the air vent panel but it would be plug and play.

You'd lose the screen and some of the setup options but it would be easier to find second hand and for cheaper.

hey all, if your touch screen isn't working check out my thread regarding replacing the touch screen. the part itself is pretty cheap and can be done with a Philips screwdriver! I haven't got the part yet but i'll report back once it arrives.

Haven't heard of an MMCS in a long while. I actually I do remember that I saw one when I was on vacation. I rented a car near Cheap car hire Malaga Airport and one of the cars had an MMCS. To be honest I don't see them as much as say 5 years ago. Makes sense I guess, they will slowly stop being popular.
