AAMI Weather App

Postby Lancer1993 » Sun Feb 21, 2016 6:38 pm

Got the AAMI weather app but just wondering, they send a txt to your postcode but what if you're not there, will it warn you for the location you're actually in?

Thought I'd ask here first for those who might have used the App.

Besides I just did check and couldn't get a clear answer.

Easiest way to find out is download and try the app for yourself!

I have but until there are weather alerts I can't tell and if I'm outside my postcode and I'm warned that Caloundra is about to have bad weather I won't know.

Only asking as we're planing a trip in a couple of months, having something like this would be useful when away from home.

Your better just checking the BOM site or download another weather app like Weatherzone which you can see radars and warnings as well as the weekly forecast, far easier and probably more reliable!

Yeah I've got some of those, just thought having warnings sent to you automatically depending where you are would be a good idea.
