Thats why I put it here :)
Simple questions and was expecting simple responses. Not worth a new thread. I knew the ticking was meant to happen, was just interested in what it was.
I think I pull the handbrake up with the button in so yeah it mightn't have clicked in properly. Shall rectify.

Will a centre lip diffuser (part between the front airdams) fit with AFTERMARKET airdams? Such as xfactor airdams or am i unlucky and should of opted for them at the start.

Also, do the front airdams reduce ground clearance? and if so, by how much (aprox) Mitsu site states all flavours (es,vr,vrx) have the same clearance.

technically they do not reduce ground clearance, however the car will scrap them more ?????

Nah this is because while they do not extend too much lower the dams extend forward further extending the nose, which on a gradient such as a driveway could mean that you will now scrap.

I hope that helps a bit.

Ah ok, my bumper right now has rock chips and one nasty nasty gash (where the airdam would cover haha) so i guess im gonna be driving 2x slower on bumps, driveways.

And lastly do any of you park over a kerb (your front end goes over it until wheel hits) with the airdams? / is it even possible, im gonna have to train to not get that close haha but ive noticed the lancer isnt really that small of a car...

I have airdams standard on my VRX, while i always park to far away it clears it easily

One of the reasons why I bit the bullet and got the RA front bumper bar was because on a lowered car, I struggled to clear humps and come down inclines.

At the end, I always REVERSE park and I had to snake down inclines to minimize scraping.

Ah, that would really suck, i have no intention of lowering though but i know what to expect in terms of scraping since my bumper now is scraped (but ive figured out the bad areas in town) :)

So am I correct in thinking that the Ralliart front bar has more ground clearance (or reduced length) than the VRX pods??
