Wasnt sure where to post this, after going through the list of subforums three times, so forgive me if this is the wrong place.

Was looking at getting a copy of my smart key for my CJ lancer made.

A mitsubishi dealer around the corner from me has given me a quote for $580.

I was wondering what I should be paying for this

Shop around locksmith shops and check if they do immobaliser key copying as they have to copy your existent one, I got quoted 300 awhile ago

A copy of your smart key?

Why didn't you get a "spare" on the day you got the car? When you buy a car with a smart key, it always comes with a spare.....
