i just hope people will respect the Club, do the right thing and mount them where they are supposed to go.
under your right mirror.
And represent ClubCJ. FTW.

i think where the RalliEdition has its badge, that we could maybe put them there as it does look good.
Ryan or Cordi could you guys take a pic of it please. Right hand side.

hmmm... I dunno... I know lotsa ppl are into badges and decals everywhere, but i feel it doesn't matter what the badge is, "es" or ralliart or clubcj, it just looks like clutter on the side of the car... I don't think i could put it on the side... I'd like to respect the club, but it's something i'd look at every day thinking "hmmm..." and i don't like things on my car that make me go hmmm... Lol... Can't see any grill mount pics, what's wrong with a grill mount badge? Ralliart weren't the first to think of that you know!
Would the badge backing be silver or white?

I think people should just put it where they want to. It's unfortunate that we can't have some kind of uniformity about it but I guess everyone thinks differently about it. the mount for the grill can be made easily by using outdoor double sided tape, some expired credit cards and a cable tie. The rest who just want to stick it onto the body can do so anywhere. Even if it's under the bonnet as someone suggested.

Let's bury down into colors and design rather than the actual mounting point. So anyone?

i appreciate your thoughts Jazz,

but i just want people to be proud of the club...

ofey is right, it is totally up to everyone where they mount them.

& once you see a couple mounted where we wanted members to put them,
i think people will really like them.

ofey, option 3 is a clear winner!

I'm all for the club! - I'll wear a Tshirt and hat on weekends, window decal's for some reason I'm ok with - and If I was gonna have a badge apart from the "lancer" and mitsu symbol that I've kept, It WOULD definately be a CCJ one... I mean no offence to the club!

Go on and design one!

In case you or anyone else dind't know, we're not deciding this design is the one. We might change from this but yours has to be good enough.

Option #3 Ozie - Perhaps mount the badge limited edition style inside the car on the dash above the glovebox?
Will prevent "badging" by kids and look more original! :)

I like mitzaB's mounting suggestion - not noticable from the outside, I know... but I like the idea...

I'm kinda thinking a nice black 'graff' style vinyl saying "club CJ", just a small one, maybe on the bonnet above the headlight, I saw a car with SOMETHING there and it looked pretty good! :-)

Different to what we're discussing, I know...

my 10c

I'm not a fan of the silver oval.... and it looks too bare for my liking.... It needs a border or something....

I like the RA style badge with the CJ, but agree the originality is not there.... maybe something with the RA colours then.... and change the shape from an oval to something else....?

Option 4:
Image

I'm not privvy to the manufacturing links and contacts that people have to get these badges sorted for production, so no offense intended to them... but imo the text under the logo is nothing special either. A dot matrix line of text.... not very prominent....
The format of the wording is important perhaps, yes, but the font and text itself lets the whole badge down... I thought it was just going to just be our join up number under or on a logo...? '#015'

As far as position on car.... I will not be sticking mine on the paintwork.... so under the driver mirror is out. Plus, bigDave already has his ClubCJ stickers there.... !!! :)
If it's going anywhere, it'll be on the grill somewhere for me, or perhaps on the back... maybe

cf looks good!!

Though realistically through production, I wonder how it'll look like. The manufacturer will simply print the color you give them.
