First, I was wondering why a Megane guy was still interested in some Lancer parts in the For Sale section; now it all makes sense.

And yeah, RA Sportbacks have been cancelled for good, so no 2014 model.

Welcome back to the lancer fraternity hahaha and congrats on the purchase.

As someone who has springs can i suggest coils. especially if its going to be a project car. Coils offer much more then the springs... the benefits outweigh the initial costs

So ant reason you bought it new, usually for a project car you would want to go second hand because you are about to void the warranty anyhow. Assuming your definition of project car is the same as mine lol...

Yeah that, I know the SSQ had no end of troubles on the X, but never saw anyone really try in Aus (Except I think one guy briefly mentioned he had it).

thanks guys ... the reason it was hush hush was i needed to know what the brother wanted to do .. as it will be his daily as we are trading his VRX in for it ... being his daily it will be hard for down time for engine mods but it will mainly be cosmetic to start of with and because of warranty ... the megane will be my daily and the lancer a bit on the side as its easlier to modify than the meggi lol and the lancer warrenty is a bit more flexible than the megane

but i cant wait !!!!! to get it :) why have one turbo when you can have two

I run the ssq 3/4 and have not had an issue not did the previous owner that I know of, I think the main issue that people had is that it is VTA, the map sensor picks up the airflow and re adjusts or thinks that a leak is present etc but had no issue as the hks hard pipe mounts it fairly high,
Any way congrats again SIX

Now that I think of it, you were the guy who I saw who had it haha. good to know. Yeah I know there were a lot of issues with them over in the states. They have a very unique sound, so which BOV were you getting Six?
