I think there are a lot of members looking for cards.

Another idea is some posters or flyers in Mitsubishi dealers service departments.

I thought of that but I would like it eye catching with good graphics.

It would be great if there was a member in the club design one and we could print them and post them in our local area.

To help avoid this, I only tag cars that already have some mods on them, Like rims or cars that look like having a younger owner. uni car park stickers are a give away to a younger owner.

One way that I help advertise the club is by loading up the CLUBCJ home page on all the laptops at JB-HIFI and at the Apple stores and any other stores that have computers on display that are connected to the internet. It looks good when you see a heap of laptops and screens lined up and all on the CLUBCJ splash screen showing a different pic.

Funny, the only ones I have put cards on have been RAs, VRXs with mods and none have found their way to the club... Toowoomba is a fairly wealthy town and even Nanna and Poppy have VRXs up here...

I was only given like 8 cards, so they didn't go far...

I now use sticky notes, but it lacks the professionalism I would expect of a club like this.

I am not sure of the club's arangement, but printing 5,000 cards is not an overly expensive exercise. I did this for my own club.

The fact that Toowoomba has not yielded more members could be directly attributed to this lack of calling cards.

I am hoping for a quick resolution.

I have chatted with salesmen in Len Patti's Mitsubishi, so they do know of the club. Also, they have commented on my ES, saying that a lot of queries about modifications have come from people seeing my car...

Which is cool, hence me telling them about the club addy.. hoping we might see some new members yet, from Toowoomba.

To let all the Adelaide members the advert in today's advertiser was wrong.

Last week the lost it this week they stuffed it up.

The main thing is we had the club cj advertised with the www.clubcj.net

The day was was wrong and they left the date out. It is of coarse Saturday the 6th of February not Tuesday

I will endeavour to get this right eventually.

I hope next weeks advert will be correct.

To continue to have the advert in the paper I will probably make a false regular meeting.

The advertiser is happy to advertise club cj for free but only to announce meetings or cruises.

So I figure the easiest way is to have a once a month meeting to discuss club issues. This of coarse will not happen unless other members wish to have meetings.

I work next door to Bartons Mitsubishi dealership and see many cars being sold new and used every day, shame i don't have any cards or stickers not even one i can copy, as the window tint, exhaust shop etc are next to me so there are Lancer going up and down my street all the time and the sales people often ask me about the club but have nothing to offer them, come to think of it i have never seen one these cards.
