I make my car decisions for me and myself only... I don't give a rats what people think...

Choosing a car to get chicks or social acceptance is the wrong reasons. Besides 9 out of 10 times they are doing it to just take the piss and mean no harm... If you come across the 1 out of 10 that actually mean it, then they are a loser anyways :D

when I bought my Lancer last year I got funny remarks from family & friends cause they think its a YOUNG persons car! well I must be considered old at 39! when I started looking for a new car I had the cruze in mind but was disappointed then looked at cars in same price & size I sat in the Lancer & fell in love who cares what other people think!

What sort of Beetle did you have Ben?

I simply don't hang around the sort of people that label others in such a way.

There is a long and lengthy discussion on Whirlpool about this. http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-re ... ?t=1799652

Most of it is trolling though (who in the world thinks an Evo X is girly?!?).

If anything, the latest gen Lancer is less girly than the previous generations. I'm sure I drive the girliest looking one though. Haha.

I was tossing up between a CJ and Mazda 3.
In the end the 3 was too girly for me, CJ definitely a males car
