Only legal whilst stationary, and the handbrake is engaged. So, when parked basically.

Nope. As long as they are not in use whilst driving, there is no restriction. And you can't legally use them whilst driving, so yeah.

The law in WA could be different, I was told by an officer that you are not allowed to have any red or blue lights on the front of your car at all (stationary or not didn't come up) but he action it with a yellow sticker or anything so I'm not 100% sure on the truth of that.

Underbody neons in WA are only legal if:
-You cannot see the lights/tube directly
-They are a solid colour and can not be flashing (or made to flash)
I'm pretty sure there was another one but I cannot remember it off the top of my head.

I like the look of underbody neons but they are a cop magnet :(
Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul.

Hey guys.. I've got 9 neons inside my car.. I have two green ones on the floor which light up when i unlock my car.. than i have two red ones on the floor aswell.. the green ones turn of when you close the door.
You can see 3 red neons the ones on top flash to the beat so does the green ones on the gear stick..

looks really good when you crank up the music..
all the lights have a rocket switch which is hidden :)
