Hmm... Sounds like a RA thing..

Resistor goes across the 2 wires on each of the globes.

Try that. Otherwise it's a load resistor designed for LED lights. I have some if you want to buy one. $6 each + post. Not making any profit from that.

ok i will try a 180 ohms resistor first and see if that works. at the moment i don't even have any reversing lights. i put the stock halogens back in and they don't even work now. any thoughts on that?? have to get the computer reset???

Put them in & pop it in reverse, LED's come on ok but just turn off after 3-4 seconds!

Any ideas whats going on? something's not happy. :x

edit: this is the sucker:

the pic looks like it has a voltage regulator in it if that not working properly that may happen

having the resistor in the thing doesnt have the load effect like a load resistor. a load resistor simulates as its called a load. so you get a 10W load resistor then its gonna simulatea 10W load on that circuit. becaues our cars monitor the lights to tell you if you have blown one the car things that the light it blown becaues there is no current draw from that circuit. thus the reason for the load resistor, you may have to do it anyway, but as far as i know only the tail/brake lights have this problem.

the computer may be thinking it has a blown reverse light, and turning off the power to it. (maybe why yours are going out) but i got no idea why its happenign with your stock globes now, maybe your ecu need to be reset (the self way)

go to your battery and remove the negative terminal for i think its 30sec, but you have a security system dont you on the ralliart's so i dunno how it works with them. maybe ask adrian(SIR-VRX) first
