Doesn't the light go down when it gets into the blue range?

I'd rather white anyway, so will look for some around the 6000k mark!

The higher the K (kelvin temperature ) the less light output you get around the 4500k mark is about the best compromise between light output and pi**ing off other road users with your illegally modified lights.:)
I am speaking about HID conversions not about just changing the bulbs.

I have 8000K and it's still closer to white then it is blue maybe a very slight blue tinge while they warm up then it's white light. When your driving at night it's good, I turn my headlights off and you suddenly can't see reflectors, cat eyes, street signs that were previously bright.

Hey Guys
Just wanted to ask a quick question, im looking to upgrade my globes as well, and have found some 12V 55W 5800K Super White Light Globes for the normal lights and some HB3 9005 Pure White Globe Set
12V 55W 7500K Super White Light for the high beams (from ebay, seller in Victoria).
will they be alright as in bright enough and compatible for my car?

Cheers

I think all modern cars have good lights. My first car had sealed beams which were average.

I think will eBay you will have to try and see as many don't sell what they advertised.
