cant see it very well, but is it a wedge type connector? try flipping the other way? or bend the pins out a little to ensure contact?

Yeah, I'd say the connector is the wrong way around. These are LED's so they need to be the right way around.

Nah I have already tried all that. When tested with a multi-meter it doesn't receive any power.
