Background
As many of you know we have already had 2 rounds of group buys for Ultra Racing Braces and as a result, we have recieved from them some T-shirts to give away.

I have only recieved 4 of them, 1 in each of the following sizes: S, XL and 2 in L. I suspect they ran out of Ms.

The design of the T-shirt is shown below:

The only fair way would be to have a lucky draw for these T-shirts but I've had a suggestion to sell these with all proceeds going to the club.

Bidding

This is now closed (Winners in Bold):
1: XL = $5 ofey, $17 Graham, $25 Matzilla
2: L = $5 ofey, $10 SIR-VRX (1)
3: L = $5 ofey, $10 cjay (2), $15 Aspired (1)
4. S = $5 ofey, $10 krz, $20 krz

I'll start the bidding at A$5. If no one increases the bid, I will donate A$5 to the club and then put the shirt back into a lucky draw for all those who participated in the group buy.

2 more rules
1. I am also going to lock in that we will only take whole dollar bids. Please don't outbid the previous bid by a cent.

2. Only those who have bidded prior to 0000hrs on the 7 Jan 2010 will be allowed to put in a further bid on 7 Jan 2010. This will prevent a last minute bidding frenzy and people trying to get this at the lowest price possible like those last minute eBay bids.

Please feel free to post your bid up. Bids close on 7 January 2010.

Any "unsold" T-shirts will be put up for a lucky draw which I will conduct at the next VIC East Side Meet publicly.

Public or private bidding?

It would seem that public bidding would be most fair.
It would also boost some peoples post counts.

2 more rules
1. I am also going to lock in that we will only take whole dollar bids. Please don't outbid the previous bid by a cent.

2. Only those who have bidded prior to 2359hrs on the 6 Jan 2010 will be allowed to put in a further bid on 7 Jan 2010. This will prevent the last minute bidding frenzy and people trying to keep the price low till the very end.

All money earnt from the winning bid will go to the club. I will pay for postage as my donation to this contest.

Let's bump this again... .

Surely some of you can bid up !!

I know it may seem silly paying > A$10 for a black t-shirt with an illustration of where bracings might go but this is a fundraiser. Something akin to paying stupid money for cheap bangers and a slice of home brand bread outside your local Bunnings.

It's NOT for the product but for the cause... .

I see a problem here.

There are 2 large T-Shirts , I want to put a $15 bid in for one of them.
So who gets out bidded by my bid ?

You choose which number you want to bid on aspire

If you want to outbid SIR-VRX Bid $15 on No#2

Well maybe someone else can put a $12 bid in and then there won't be a problem.

I know how to fix it.
If you want to bid for the size L, you can not bid the same amount as the other size L.

So I have bid $15, so the next bid has to be more then $10 and can not be $15 and then any further bids can not be the same as a previous bid. This is only for the size L as there are two of them.

If no one else bids on an L then since SIR-VRX put his bid in first, I guess he will get it for $10 and cjay misses out.

As always there's going to be someone who'll try to outsmart the system. I'll put it another way then.

Since there are 2 large sizes, the top 2 bidders will win the shirts and in case of 2 people being tied in 2nd place, the person who put in the first bid will win the shirt. So for the time being, if Aspired bids A$15 for the Large, his bid will displace cjay's bid rather than SIR-VRX's. First come first serve?

done.

If someone tries to out do the system, I'll come up with something else.

Are you taking a jab at me ?
Trying to outsmart the system ? No. I just want to put a bid in for a T-Shirt

Is everything OK mate ?
I have seen a change in you over the past week.
