OK. Here's a quick list.
Risks that possibly may occur... Accusations of favouritism, rules being changed mid way thru the comp process, the selection process for a winner may not be all that transparent, why one members seems to have special dispensation to run these comps, and then potential "pandora's box" of having every man and his dog pile in wanting to run their own comp, of which bring issues of manageability of these comps by the comm. Problems of oversight are my big #1 concern here. So there you have it. Not say that all those things above is a complete list or that all of them apply in this instance. However, you asked and i've now shared. Hope that clears things up on my thinking and view on these comps.

Regardless if you feel offended, your feelings or other's feeling's are not my primary concern here. Perhaps your indignation would be better placed at Meaty, not I for raising the question.
Regardless if the suggestion/accusation is incorrect, all that's needed to sully a comp is the perception that something is "not quite right" and that is enough cause problems with any comp, run by you, me or anyone else.
I'm here to protect the wider members. As a referree there is a 50% chance that people wont like my decision.

Anyway, can we get back on topic and continue with this comp. This is not a thread for you to have argument and counter argument. I've made a judgement call based on the information I have. I've show some goodwill to let this comp continue. If you have any further questions, PM me don't continue to pollute this thread further...
