I just noticed you changed the rules and prize, in my personnel experience that's a no no, if you don't clearly stipulate rules when your writing your original post that's pretty much just lazy posting. Prize I don't care but rules shouldn't change.

the rule says "make A caption", ppl started making 2 or 3 captions so i reinforced the rule and DID NOT CHANGE IT!

I think my original post explains itself, think before you hit submit.
Changing rules after a contest has started is not cheating in this instance, I think we are all adult enough around here to understand that, but on the other hand if you want to run a competition to win a car and start selling tickets to wich multiple people buy multiple tickets ...... U can't make the last to enter only allowed to buy one.

I DID ..... I've pick-up my Bat & Ball and I ain't Playing Anymore ...

I had to lock this temporarily to figure out how to salvage this. This will be the last of these un-official comps. I've been wary of all the problems these sorts of comp being run without oversight can bring. I was prepared to take a "suck it and see" approach on this, however it seems some of my reservations have been realised.

I'll let this one run to completion....

We've already had suggestions of rules being changed part way thru the comp, and without the benefit of being able to see the content of the original unedited post. I cannot say either way if this was the case. I'm prepared to give Steve the benefit of the doubt here.

We've had one contestant suddely pull out and a fragmented polling of breeking 16 people people into two different polls, allowing people to vote twice across the two different groups. This is inherently unfair to contestants.

So moving forward, people can submit their vote by posting in the thread. One vote per member. Sleeper, will tally the votes and declare the winner.
