I'm not sure what the obsession is with having a RA front, now with the VRX and Active having that particular front im referring too, it will be a all too common thing, making the car not so unique anymore.
Mitsubishi should of given you a better answer than that, they should know whether the Bar fits properly or not.

Hope it all works out for you :D

This question has been answered ages ago. PLEASE stop asking it.

ONE LAST TIME:
An RA front bar (2008-2012) will fit onto any NA Lancer (2008-2012).

In VIC alone, we have:

me, Meaty and jason210493 all have RA front bumper bars on NA Lancers.

To borrow a line from you:
I FIND YOUR LACK OF FAITH DISTURBING......

Also please don't use CCJ as a bargaining tool with Mitsubishi to get an answer out of them.
WE already have an answer. It's you who refuses to trust the answer provided on here.
You are embarrassing us with your lack of faith in what answers have been given on this club already.

There is NO 2012 bumper. The RA bar has been around since 2008. NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

Kinda off topic, but Ofey - did your bumper come with the headlight washer slots? (and non-functional). Or did you get them installed seperately?

yes mine came with the washer slots.

The bumper bar was purchased from a guy on this forum who had it on his Aspire.
The washer slots get drilled in were necessary.

It does not function in mine.

The call centers are staffed by people who have acess to part numbers and technical manuals they don't have access to R & D staff or blueprints they are there to help with problems not to advise on modifying vehicles. They will never advise that a non standard part will fit. I would get the same reply if I was to ask what is the maximum boost I can run in my car.

Hi, will this suit a current vrx nose?
If not could the current vrx nose bar be replaced or is it a whole new front bumper?

Hey delta any chance you would have a link of where to grab one from or is there anywhere local to buy them from?
Also is the install fairly straightforward or is there a bit of mucking round.

Youre probably better off buying used, theres one for sale on eBay at the moment but Zaphod has dibs on it. They do pop up every now and then though, and its far cheaper to buy used too. The one Zaphods looking at includes the fog lamps, which youd pay $600 for alone new.
haha yeah looks like he scooped it, eBay listing is now sold
