I've gone in a different direction. Personalizing interior and exterior and sound deadening the car looking for a silent? comfortable ride.
Be happy when its quieter then a BMW and Merc. Not too far off that mark already. 38db on idle and 65db at 100kph. Wheel arches next.

Yes I do also like a sweet running motor and traction. So far only additions, RA inlet snorkel and whiteline front strut bar, next 2.5 inch muffler.
Extra size for free flowing but has to be less noisy then existing one. Will consider less restrictive cat: etc: when warranty expires

contemplating fitting a XForce Varex muffler. Concern is how does ECU handle variation, when muffler is switched
back and forth, from straight through to muffled to straight through etc: etc:

Does the change matter, can it be harmful.

judging by what has been said before, there might be some back pressure, and if you are going twin outlet this could spread that pressure? im not to sure hahaha

I'd love a new catback for my lancer but eh, lots of effort for minimal gains. I'll probably make a rear muffler delete at some stage instead.

As Merlin said, high flow cat will give heaps more benefit then Axel back mod: I suppose for a little extra effort.
Would put one in tomorrow if it wasn't for my warranty! As warned by my Mitsu: service department! :(

Does anyone know where I can get a turbo kit? And I need to replace my front bar and bonnet but looking at a ralliart style one

Not worth it mate
Cheaper, and better if you just sell it and buy a ralliart or Evo
It costs a few grand if you do it yourself and find all the right parts but risk blowing up your block
I used to have a lancer lx a few years ago and gave it my all so feel free to look at my build thread for ideas
Trust me there is a lot there
My favourite mods were recaros, soundsytem, coils/airbag suspension, headlights, tail lights

RRM sells it like said above but honestly it’s not worth it unless you have money to waste, I constantly thought and wondered of doing it but in the end the money versus gain isn’t worth it, you’ll lower its reliability by quite a lot for such little power gain. I’d go evo or even a Ralliart if you want to go through the power plant route!

If your dead serious about the turbo route, I'd consider picking up an EVO or Ralliart motor, loom, and ECU and doing a transplant (especially if you have a manual cogbox), as a bolt on turbo as mentioned is asking for trouble, done right and taking a lot of time and money and it could work out awesome, but unless you decompress the motor (spacer headgasket, 4B11 10:1 4B11T 9:1) and some other bits and pieces, the ECU will throw a fit with the air fuel ratios, (Merlin can elaborate on this further), but I don't know if the stock ECU can be tuned out that far to handle boost.

The RRM kit say they come with a tune which will allow me to run 7psi on stock internals

Reading archived forums and some guys in 2010 playing with 30PSI on stock internals with the EVO 4B11T in the states I presume.

Here is a thread on boosting a 4B11 Lancer engine it follows up what you said about the 7PSI which will be fun till the boost bug really bites

I'm happy with the 7psi just hoping I can contain it for a few years so i can save before going all out on it

Oh I forgot to mention, boost juicin performance does turbo kits for NA lancers, but you’d have to go to Merlin to tune it appropriately. From memory they do it for around 4.5k you drive in you drive out, and bit extra if you want a larger tranny cooler. They figures they ultimately gave me was with a kit on and other bolt ons, you could be on 160kw to the wheels or so, which if I’m right is roughly 180 or so to the crank. They say they hold it at around 5psi for cvts and around 7psi for manuals. Hope this helps! You can message them on Facebook and I’m sure they’d reply back!
