Painting

Postby Josh_Emerton » Wed Oct 22, 2008 6:11 pm

Just a few questions -

When painting things - they must be sanded first right? Anything else? (Come on, I ain't an artist)

Spray paint or brush and bucket?

What about painting rubber? (In particular, that line of rubber between the bonnet and the front of the car)

You can paint the Rubber but it will eventually flake off! because it's flexing and moving all the time. not good.

What color do you want to paint it? There is probably some type of spray paint for rubber that would hold up fairly well. That strip doesn't really get flexed too much so it should work out ok with the right paint.

Check with a store that sells a good variety of spray paints.
