Wow that came up so good! Looking at getting one for mine, after reading your posts I'll definitely avoid the cheap ones :D

Thanks! it was actually the way the I put the vortex on. I used sikkaflex(automotive silicone), apparently it was suppose to be a permanent bond. However, I believe I did not sand the underside of my VG enough or I did not let it set for long enough. Therefore it flew off. I'm sure a fair amount of 3M double sided tape will work fine though, if you do not want to go through all that trouble and a non-permanent install.
