Does anyone happen to know the exact colour code for the main body of the 2017 lancer black edition starlight white? The white colour.
I saw a black sticker on the passenger side with the VIN and model number, etc and it says paint as "XW1" and trim as "28P" but SCA nor Repco could find it in their system.

Have a look under the bonnet there is an ID plate there with the code. My Evo is STARLIGHT WHITE so it should be the same number W13B

More info I had some made up and it comes out a clear silver colour. It had to have white added to it. I suggest you go to a proper paint place to get it. Rep co and the like haven’t got a clue about pearl finish paints

Hmmm... I just don’t want to use my Schmick or whatever it’s called on the car for something so minor, so wanted to patch it up myself...

What sort of paint shop would be able to do that?

Has anyone got any idea what CL is? I have a 2010 VRX, and the paint code is CL, it is getting resprayed but apparently it's showing Black mica, or amethyst black pear for the paint code?

CL is the amethyst black pearl base coat. I would assume there is a clear coat on top of this. Pearl paint colours are built up in a series of undercoat,colour coat then clear coat.
Not a job for the home hobbyists

I was considering buying my appropriate paint eventually to respray my roof. However it is also a pearl, X42 to be exact. I assume that would be out of reach for the home DIYer? Best to save money on tools and paint and pay a professional?
