New Wiper Blades

Postby milobob » Sun Jan 15, 2012 9:32 am

Hi all (repostig here as per whirlpool),

Looking to buy some new wiper blades. Now I've used the Bosch Aerotwins for < 1 year and they are already quite worn. My previous pair that came with the car lasted 1.5 years (the original metal arm). Was happy with the aerotwins apart from the jumpy bottom part of the 24" blade (yes I do polish the glass and clean it weekly).

I park in the sun quite a fair bit and do a lot of country driving.

I think it will be more cost effective if I stayed with the original wiper blade rubber refils however not many places seem to sell Bosch Microedge anymore (they lasted the longest) and those cheapy ones like Tridon or SCA brands last only a few months at the most.

Does anyone know where I can get refills cheaper?

I've used the site below many times before as well for the aerotwins:
http://www.wiperblades.co.uk

I've also found on youtube how to 'refill' the aerotwins... haha..

Cheers.
