but the static charger cost too much tbh... about 900 bucks i wouldn't mind just the stick on ones since that would engouh to stop the glare alreadyad plus it would look better then stock :)

i would love to suede my interior, the problem is the passenger airbag. Does anyone have an idea on the location where the bag will deploy?

Do you think if The airbag would punch through the suede anyways?

Would you have a clearer photo? It's quite hard to see

Just give me an hour please.

I will drive my car in to a wall and then take the photos .

If you do not hear from me I may be in hospital.

Mate the sort answer is do you really want to risk it for your passenger?? As far as I am concerned when it comes to airbags I would do anything that could possibly fault their deployment.

In terms of a clearer picture it is simple to see that the airbag punches through the top section of the dash closet to the windscreen.

The flap flips upwards towards the windscreen and the actual bag unfolds outwards ontop of the dash strip thingy (you know the one with the hazards ect in it).

You can see this on the NRMA website under the ANCAP testing videos, the slot clearly blows open on a hinge.

Looking at that it *should* be doable to flock the dash as long as the airbag lines arent covered. Suede could be used I guess aslong as the airbag cover is again cut out.... If it all goes pair shaped and you hurt a passenger I dare say the insurance would give you a prompt eff off to any claims

it looks great, i've seen an amazing gtr skyline with the suade looking interior. seem's like it would be a hard job to do given the airbags, i think if there was a professional to do the job, would be safer than risking obstructing the airbag.
