Yeah it is. The only thing stopping me is I’m not sure if I have to use sealant on the sensor. I read online people recommended to use permatex red thread sealant I can’t find it in stores anywhere local. So I might have to order some online

A couple of wraps of thread tape will be ok or Stag jointing paste or grey Threebond.

No worries, I'll give it a go thanks mate. I am just hoping I don't lose to much coolant from swapping it out.

Get your new sensor ready within reach, remove the old one with one hand and stick your finger in the hole then grab the new one with your free hand and screw it in. Depressurise the radiator but leave the cap on this will minimise coolant loss.

Ok, update on the car, it's all fixed now. I ended up ordering some Loctite 567 thread sealer. I was told its equivalent part is the Permatex stuff. To get the sensor out wasn't too much of a pain. I had them take out the rear fuel line bracket to allow a little bit of movement to get an extended 19mm socket in there. Thanks, @lancerdarryl for the advice about the coolant loss. I had it in the garage and fairly level. I had no coolant loss at all. Plugged in laptop cleared the code and gauge works again. I am off to get a new bung welded into the exhaust the old one stripped out when I attempted to remove it. So once that is done, I'll post up some pictures of the gauges all working.
