I have already asked for the RHD version. They don't have one. I have been told cos the CJ has an alarm these units on AliExpress are no good.
Having said that I have been told that an auto Electrician can use a few diodes and a relay to make the windows all have auto up.
How it has been wired up I have zero clue at this point.
I'm still trying to get more details on that.

Anyone tried this?

Saw the instructions and looks quite simple to wire up.

Yes 1 module for each window.

Really only need for driver, passenger can jolly well hold the switch if they need to open/close the window.

Much more funner to modify it yourself

Sorry to ask this but just trying to figure it all out. So if i was to purchase and install 2 for the front door windows. The passenger would be able to to use the auto up/down function and so would i using the master controls? Is that correct?

If you have the know how and parts of course it will be more fun/satisfying to do it yourself.
But I have discovered sometimes it will cost a lot more to buy individual parts and DIY.
Currently on a project to install power steering cooler (similar to what come stock on the Evo X) and the individual parts likely cost more than the whole system off the shelf!
But heck having lots of fun figuring things out myself.
Can't wait for the finished product.

There's a few ways to tackle the window auto up
I also need to.soend more time in the MUT3 software and see what I can find
That's one option
The other option is to modify the existing button in the door
However
I'm still sure there is something in the ETACS box that needs to be changed to make it work.
I have no doubt it will be something extremely simple to change.
It's just time consuming to find what that something simple is

Been doing more reading in this
My gut feeling was right
It's in the ETACS box
In Japan you can do what we want and modify the ETACS box to suit
Cos we have Aussie ETACS box it won't work
Have a read thru this thread on this forum covering this topic

On a side note when looking at stuff in the ETACS box , I did find a handy settings I enabled.
Now the aircon/fan in the cabin won't turn on till the car starts.
I see no reason to be able to enable this till the engine is running.
Also incase your wondering, when the air con is running with a stock ecu tune the clutch for the air con is disabled till the engine rpm hits approx 400 rpm
The ecu will disable the aircon upon starting.
Smart thinking Mitsubishi. Take the load off the battery and engine. Well done

See why isn't stuff like this already enabled?

Also why can't they do this stuff during a normal service, I asked them about the door lock thing and they didn't know what I was talking about.

Don't the have an expert on site to diagnose ETACS issues and fix problems with a laptop?

It depends what region your in by the looks
Japan and Europe got all sorts of stuff
If they have a MUT3 tool they can do it
And if they have someone who know how to use the MUT3 as well

I think after reading somewhere you can't just change the Etacs to make it all the windows auto up. You have to chnage the window switch and install different motors that allow you to change the etacs settings.

Drivers window is set to present as standard if it has all the bits to make it work. My wife's 2008 my09 VRX doesnt have auto up on drivers window. I tried enabling it to present and it didnt do anything, it changed back to not present. I looked into this years ago and it was way to costly to make the drivers window go up after buying new switches and window motor. My Evo X does have auto up drivers window and is set to present in the etacs. There is another setting also I just cant find what its called after some google searching. You have to also change the power window types also and there is 3 or 4 settings. I have downloaded a trial of the driver to allow Mut-3 SE Software to work with my Tactrix I'll install and get some screen shots from both cars to show the different settings.
