ClubCJ - The CJ Lancer Club

I tried something like that, but gave up (for the above reasons) I even tried a gas strut so it stayed up for easy access to the spare, but it wasn't strong enough and didn't have time to get it right before an interstate trip. I may revisit it one day and still have to stock floor and felt.

Another option I've see is an insert in the wheel that holds tools, the factory ones I've see are hard styrofoam or plastic, it would be great to have something like that I could lift out with all the crap I have in the center of my spare!
