v2 arent compable with the earlier models

Is the main advantage of the MMCS is the access to certain car settings outside the sound system which after market HUs can't do?

some aftermarket ones can do it, i guess its the easy of plug and play, and the settings arent really that useful for day to day use anyway

V1 has BT unfortunately you can't use it to stream music from your phone.
